BackGround
The international Mind, Brain and Education Society (IMBES) was established in 2004 with the mission of facilitating cross-cultural collaboration in biology, education and the cognitive and developmental sciences, and applying the psychology and neuroscience research achievements in the education practice. Integration of psychology, neuroscience and education is the beginning of a new interdisciplinary learning science. The burgeoning of this discipline will provide guidance to both education research and practice.
The Asia-Pacific Conference on Mind, Brain and Education is the first regional academic conference sponsored by IMBES. The main aims of the Conference is to strengthen dialogue and exchange between psychologists, neuroscientists, engineers and educational researchers, to enhance regional interests in the learning sciences, and improve the status of research in the field of mind, brain, and education in Asia-Pacific regions.
2008 Asia-Pacific Conference on Mind, Brain and Education invites scientists from various research fields. Eminent speakers from various nations will also be invited to present key lectures. It is hoped that the conference will also facilitate the building of networks to promote cooperative relations and collaborative work in this new field.

Participants are invited to submit paper (less than four printed A4 pages). The paper should be written in English, and include the title, author name(s), affiliation(s) & post code(s), Email(s), and abstract (guideline for paper preparation can be viewed on Conference Website).
